Our history

In the seventies, ten-pin bowling was a sport banned by the government of the time. Only the tenacity, the illusion and the excess of confidence that gives youth, made Mr. Quereda build a place in the Avenida del Mediterraneo in Benidorm without having the license to import equipment.

BOWLING IS BORN IN SPAIN

In this way, José Antonio Quereda, manages to make his dream come true: to install, in the city of Benidorm, the first approved bowling in Spain.

This first bowling center was created as a family leisure center focused on sports and healthy entertainment; values that are still more valid than ever in Ozone.

Since that June 8th, Mr. Quereda has dedicated all his efforts to make Ozone the authentic "Home of bowling", creating each and every one of the centers with the same values, enthusiasm and commitment of that bowling center in 1974. with the same values, enthusiasm and commitment of that bowling center in 1974.

To this end, it has always remained faithful to excellence and attention to detail.

Over the years, a perfect synergy has been created between yesterday and tomorrow, merging all the traditional values that have accompanied Ozone throughout its history, with the innovation, vanguard and design of bowling centers.

For all this, the history of bowling in Spain is synonymous with the history of José Antonio Quereda, founder of Ozone Bowling.
